pygtk-py22 failed to build, owing to the absence of a proper .patch
file. It requires
/sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/gnome/pygtk-py22-0.6.9-3.patch,
but I don't have it on my machine.
Here is the list of related files:
$ ls /sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/gnome/pygtk-py2*
When I try to use 'convert' (from ImageMagick), I got :
lsce3005-marti-139-~/Olivier/Icones: convert ch640.gif ch640.jpeg
dyld: convert version mismatch for library:
/usr/X11R6/lib/libfreetype.6.dylib (compatibility version of user:
10.0.0 greater than library's version: 6.2.0)
Trace/BPT trap
Am I missing something??
I don't thinks so, I just hit the same problem.
My /sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/gnome/ contains:
pygtk-py22.patch
pygtk-py23.patch
but not pygtk-py22-0.6.9-3.patch that the script is looking for, and i
can't find that anywhere.

Hello all,
I've used webmin in the past, and somehow I don't appear to have it
installed now. I'm going to install it again and wanted to hear why I'd
want to install the fink version vs from source myself.
The reason I ask is that I remember being able to upgrade the installed
version, add
The root of your problem is the parenthesis in the directory name.
Many Unix programs do not expect to find either spaces or parentheses in
directory names (or other unusual characters either).
The fact that fink has been working with this change is probably due more
to luck than anything else.

Maybe this is the problem? Sorry that I didn't tell you before, I

That would probably do it: that's based on XFree86-4.3, which uses

Is this the official Beta 3 Apple X11, or did you install the WWDC
version?

This is the new .info/.patch format (only in unstable right now). It
looks like the patch isn't set up right in the .info file. You already
contacted the maintainer, so it should get fixed soon.

I thought of an idea this morning that would be pretty keen. The fink system requires
us to have root access to install packages, so we have to su to root, log as root or
use sudo. And to keep the cvs updates clean, fink updates the /sw/fink folder as a
user (well, this is an optional

Hello all,
I have recently remove and then freshly installed Fink. I have done all the
pre-configuring (selfupdate, scanpackages, etc, etc, etc,...)
Anyway, I want to install Koffice and when I run fink install koffice, I
immediately get the following error...

You can just remove all of /usr/X11R6 (sudo rm /usr/X11R6) and then

but I
would suggest reinstalling (fink reinstall) it, just in case.
I'm very happy that after
