[Fink-users] Warning prebinding not disabled

2003-12-31 Thread Michèle Garoche
I've just installed latest Fink on 10.3.2. Since then I have a bunch of warnings each time a package is compiled (unstable via cvs) like this one (just an example): ld: warning prebinding not disabled because (__LINKEDIT segment (address = 0xe000 size = 0x2000) of jbigtopnm overlaps with __LINK

[Fink-users] date-manip-pm581 -can't install, so can't do update-all

2003-12-31 Thread Roberto Manuel Latorre
Hei! I KNOW this has been bandied about before. I just don't seem to be able to find a reference to it in the archives (I get lost everytime...) What I'm trying to do is just an update-all, after a selfupdate, using Fink Commander under Mac OS X 10.3.2. It ask for some dependencies to fill, and

[Fink-users] g77: why 3.4 ?

2003-12-31 Thread Michel Peyrard
I have having some difficulties compiling the plplot package and I noticed that g77 provided by fink is 3.4 while gcc of the Apple Developer tools is 3.3. There seems to be some inconsistency that could explain my problem. - why did you swich to 3.4 for g77. According to GNU it does not seem

[Fink-users] grcodes

2003-12-31 Thread Daniel M. Bikel
Hi, I've brought this up before, but has anyone noticed odd errors when compiling the texmf package from scratch on Panther (i.e., doing a 'fink install texmf')? Specifically, the grcodes.tex file is causing a slew of problems. It would be *extremely* helpful if someone could post their version o

[Fink-users] Apple script to start kmail

2003-12-31 Thread Rocco Charamella
Hi, I'm wondering how to write an apple script to start kmail, without actually starting kde. I can start kmail by itself from the command line, but I'd like to have an icon to start it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. --- This SF.net
