2005-04-03 Thread Federico Carminati
Hello, compiling compress-zlib-pm560-1.34-10 fails with the following error message. Any help would be appreciated. One think I noticed it is that it compiles explicitly with gcc-3.3. PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 /sw/bin/perl5.6.0 -Iblib/arch -Iblib/lib -I/sw/lib/perl5/5.6.0/darwin -I/sw/lib/perl5/5.

Try rebuilding control-center by itself. Then once it has successfully built, continue on with the update-all. Repeat each time a package borks itself. Took me 6 tries last time, but control-center was not one of the problems. Good luck, Brian On Apr 3, 2005, at 7:28 PM, Alexander K. Hansen wro

[Fink-users] persistent "node exists" error

2005-04-03 Thread Hanspeter Niederstrasser
I'm trying to install inkscape and I'm getting a persistent error that the node for pango1-xft2-dev already exists. I've followed the instructions in the FAQ to 'dpkg -r --force depends pango1-xft2-dev', and then did a fresh selfupdate. 'fink install inkscape' still gives the error after that.
