I run into the same (word too long) problem with the current fink
unstable tcsh on Mac OS X 10.3.9. My current classpath (presumably
before execution is broken by some further manipulation either in
/etc/init.csh or in ~/.tcshrc) is
CLASSPATH=/sw/share/java/bcel/bcel.jar:/sw/share/java/commons
