I can't find r on any server. In visiting its source site
(ftp://ftp.stat.math.ethz.ch/Software/R/), I don't find it named as it
is in the .info file. That is, the file names are of the forms:
R-devel.tar.gz and R-patched.tar.gz (not R-2.3.0.tar.gz). Are the
upstream folks messing with our head
