is there anywhere that explains how to cvs the 1.1.5 version from the
CVS server?

I had the same problem with Sun Solaris.
After installing Gnu sed and awk from http://sunfreeware.com/ it worked.
Maybe it is only necessary to install sed.
Something is wrong with the sed command in libcruft/mkf77def.in

wxpython-py23 should be available as unstable.
"fink list" doesn't show it (after fink-configuring for unstable releases),
though I see 5005 total other packages available.
