Dear William,
My system is Mac OSX 10.5.7 with Fink 64 bits updated and I use
zsh-templates from svn.
I am trying:
fink install apbs, and it fails with:
[snip]
/bin/rm -rf /sw/src/fink.build/root-apbs-1.1.0-2
/bin/mkdir -p /sw/src/fink.build/root-apbs-1.1.0-2/sw
/bin/mkdir -p

I have been trying get Kdevelop 3.x working for a couple of days. From what
I can gather when compiling from source, there are a merry-go-round of
dependency issues involving subversion, berkeley db and kdevelop resulting
in the links to the plugins (C, C++, etc) being broken.

/bin/rm -f /sw/src/fink.build/root-taglib-1.5-1/sw/info/dir
/sw/src/fink.build/root-taglib-1.5-1/sw/info/dir.old
