I wanted to install the libnids library from the unstable tree.
There are 2 errors in the finkinfo file :
1- dependencies : depends on libnet1.1 (version : 1.1.0-1) but if you
install libnet, version 1.1.0-2 is installed (so more recent,
obviously)
2- download link :
Hi everybody !
I'd like to install sketch but the Imaging-1.1.4a2 is needed and
impossible to get :
% fink install sketch
sudo /sw/bin/fink install sketch
Password:
(...)
curl -f -L -O http://effbot.org/downloads/Imaging-1.1.4a2.tar.gz
curl: (7) Timeout while accepting connection, server
for it to see your GS.

Hi fink-users !
I've manually installed Ghostscript 7.05.5 from scratch. I needed the
Gimp-Print drivers + X11 ones, so I didn't use the ESP version (it
doesn't include X11 drivers), I recompiled GS with all the drivers
I finally managed to do it by simply adding this link :
/usr/local/share/ghostscript/6.01@ - /usr/local/share/ghostscript/7.05
and fink is ok with that, I hope it won't cause me troubles ...

Just an small word to tell european users that you can (should)
use european sourceforge mirrors by editing the
/sw/etc/apt/source.list and replace
http://us.dl.sourceforge.net/fink/direct_download
