I've successfully compiled and installed Gnucash 2.0.1 on Mac OS X v10.4 (PowerPC). I used the Fink dependency tree shown at http://captnswing.net/2006/07/10/gnucash20_on_intel_macs.html, but I had to uninstall gtkhtml-dev from Fink first. I also had to install crypt-ssley-pm586 for Finance::Quote

Okay... here's what I did last night. I removed Fink completely: sudo rm -rf /sw but forgot to remove my kludge from the previous install, which was: ln -s /sw/lib /support so that is still there for most of the following... First I downloaded fink-0.23.9.tar.gz to my home directory and

I readded stable/main and stable/crypto to fink.conf fink selfupdate fink install gnome-libs-dev-1.4.2-50 rm /support fink -y install gnucash which got further (and past gnome-print)! But then failed on gal21-0.22-14 with the old: libtool: link: cannot find the library

After reading about gnome-libs-dev-1.4.2-52 from Martin Costabel and rereading my above notes, I tried: fink selfupdate rm /support fink install gnome-libs-dev fink rebuild gal21 (fails with /support/libgnomesupport.la error), so: ln -s /sw/lib /support fink rebuild gal21 fink reinstall gal21
