need to do a fink selfupdate-cvs, dselect update is only for the binary
releases which doesn't exist for unstaable as of yet.

Dude very good, work it's very nice and usable now. I'm very impressed
and will try using it for awhile to see what feedback i can give you. as
for now i think fink scanpackages just be run before apt-get update, for
the apt update feature, but I'll coment more after more usage, keep up the
good
there are two solutions, I'm testing one right now and it's in the info
file, which is very easy.
the other where i think the problem extends from is the FT package should
be moved to %p/include/freetype/freetype which would fix it for all pkgs.
But i'm testing things right now.

ahh okay I now see your point. the other way would be to reset the
include. I'll try that.

4.2 from fink unstable, and I too compiled mozilla 1.0rc1 with out any
problems. I'm gonna remove freetype2 and try again...will post my
findings.

I just skimmed through this, but to me if I'm following, it would include
them all, now the order would only matter for redefs, but the question is,
does it need both, or only expect one? Are there #ifdef or #ifndef
statements? maybe the freetype stuff should be #ifdef HAVE_FREETYPE2 blah
#else
I prefer -vo gl -ao sdl but I also added a config file in this release
maybe play in there if you get better setings let me know I'll make them
default. I'm working on dvd decryption, dvd play and vcd play ATM then
I'll need to try and fix to xv nd x11 drivers but I dont' think that will
be possi
I have the exact same problem, and I think it has to do with freetype2,
but i haven't had a chance to try it with freetype2 uninstalled, if you
get a chance to try it that way let me know.

I have and use all of these with no obvious problems.

the problem is that qt was made to live in seperate directories, Not that
I want to say it but I think we should see how debian handled this to
avoid more problems. The problem with this I think will be with the bin
portion. I think that the qt2-shlibs will need qt2-bin I'm sure the
qt2-bin and
fink's esound needs OSX (Aqua) because the port uses it's CoreAudio API
not found on the stand alone version of darwin.

a \ in the unix cmd line is called an esc char. the esc char is needed
for any char that is a iregual char. like $ or spaces. anything that
could be something else like say you have a dir called $PATH since $PATH
is an env var you could run into problems without and esc char to be able
to tell
thanks I'll check the depends and add it to stable.
