There's an ambiguity in the third bullet of the left hand column of http://fink.sourceforge.net/ regarding updating Fink for Tiger. I read it to mean that the last sentence goes with the next-to-last sentence and only applies if your version of fink is less than 0.24.5. Reading more carefully
