Hi everyone, I've been using fink for a couple of weeks and am having great fun. I will move on to testing packages shortly.
I tried compiling bundle-kde-ssl (successful) and running kde (unsuccessful) . As far as I can tell I followed the fink/kde instructions. The first part of the log is below. Basically, everything seems to work fine except kwin, which dies (I even get unwindowed customization screens) . The "not a Mach-O MH_BUNDLE file type" error occurs for all the programs, not just kwin. Any help greatly appreciated, Siva. _KDE_IceTransmkdir: Owner of /tmp/.ICE-unix should be set to root DCOP: register 'anonymous-24138' -> number of clients is now 1 DCOPServer up and running.
