[this is not really a fink related question, but this was the most relevant forum I could think off. (Plus I use fink all the time and something I did to it *might* have something to do...)]
Whenever I try to "open" a file from the terminal, eg:
$ open lala.pdf
(which I expect to open lala.pdf in the default pdf viewer) I get (consistently) "Bus error"s
The same applies to all sorts of other file types that I try to open. The console does not seem to indicate anything.
Also, the same happens if I execute the command from iterm (if this means anything).
Any ideas/suggestions? Either of what might be at fault and/or what I could do to debug/resolve this situation?
