I'm dealing with the same issue; the fink cdrecord just wouldn't work under 10.6. Two things I've found so far: - Building cdrtools-3.01a04 "outside" of fink works fine. - Building it "inside" fink produces a binary which only works when it isn't installed in /sw/bin. It seems OS X 10.6 think
