Hi Kow, I now have a working install of Evolution that supports. Thanks to all for your advise. This is the path I took: fink install gnome-vfs-ssl *installed the above with it's SSL deps fink rebuild evolution *build found freshly installed SSL and compiled Evo with SSL support fink install evo

Hello all, I recently installed Ximian's Evolution (V.1.0.7-2) via Fink (V.0.5.0a.cvs) on my TiBook running OS X (V.10.2.2). During the install process I was not asked about SSL support. After install I was excited to find it actually works. However, the mail servers that I want to connect to
