Here's the problem:
I have GNU-Emacs 20.7-5 and ispell 3.2.06-1 installed on a PowerBook G3
running Mac OS 10.1.4.
When I try to execute ispell in emacs, it will invariably hang with the
minibuffer message "continuing spelling check using default dictionary"
