It's difficult to switch back and forth between the -ssl and non-ssl version. If you _must_ do it, you can either do it cleanly via "sudo apt-get remove gnome-vfs2-ssl-shlibs" which will remove everything that depends on it, or you can use sudo dpkg -r --force depends gnome-vfs2-ssl-shlibs gnome-vfs2-ssl gnome-vfs2-ssl-dev fink install gnome-vfs2-shlibs gnome-vfs2 gnome-vfs2-dev -- Alexander K.
