I had the same problem this morning with
emacs21-xaw3d 21.3.50-20031224-12
and Apple X11 on OS X 10.3.4
I started emacs from a Terminal.app window.
My DISPLAY variable was set to :0.0 and the problem
disappeared after restarting X11, in fact it worked from
the same window that originally wasn
After everything went south yesterday, I decided to reinstall panther,
Apple's X11, XTools 1.2, X11SDK, and the pertinent OSXSDKs and see if
that fixed things. I could not find any config files that were
corrupted, so I thought perhaps some of the code had been corrupted.
