This won't be a problem when system-xfree86 gets updated in stable. For
right now, I suppose we can tentatively recommend installing the
unstable system-xfree86 (but not enabling all of unstable).

Then, shall we should recommend to beginners installing for the first time "Apple's X11 PB v3" and "Fink", to install from unstable system-xfree86 4.2-11?
And for those who already have Apple's X11 PB v0.2 installed and they want to upgrade to "v0.3", also to update to system-xfree86 to 4.2-11?
Some people want to upgrade to "Apple's X11 PB v03" but they are concerned on how it will affect Fink.
Thanks,
Pedro

My understanding is that the version of system-xfree86 from stable
didn't work with Apple X11 0.3, and that's why a new version was made.

Which version of 'system-xfree86' is necessary for those who install 'Apple's X11 PB v3' and 'Fink' for the first time?
Will it work with a version prior to 'system-xfree86' 4.2-11 from unstable?
Thanks and regards,
Pedro

Yes, all the kinks appear to be worked out. (crosses fingers)
Please, anyone who is reading this, if you have successfully installed/upgraded system-xfree86 using Apple's X11, let me know so I can move it to stable.
