Thanks for your help Alex. A combination of moving /usr/local to a new location and a clean install of fink did the job. I think one of the packages in my previous install of fink had managed to get linked against libgcc.dylib. Cheers Simon -

Hi I'm having problems building texmacs. The configure process chokes because guile can't find libgcc.dylib. From what I can find out about libgcc, it should not be used with Jaguar. Is it possible to persuade guile not to use this library? TIA Simon -
