Well,

thanks to Martin's advice I was able to proceed a bit with the update, but now I definitely stuck with a conflict between kdeutils3-ssl and kdeutils3. I append the (very brief) output from fink below. Any help greatly appreciated.

This looks like one of those bugs, caused by a file moving from one package to another one, that go away when you just repeat your last command.




Thanks for the input. I'll try again. I was a bit hesitant because every step of the update process takes several hours.
