your system by chance?
In fact, it is recommended that you do _not_ update to gcc 3.3.

No, I don't have that. Weird.

Alexander: No, it's due to the fact that he updated to g77-3.3 and g77-3.3
(which is derived from the FSF sources and not apple cvs) does not resolve
those symbols for some reason. The workaround, which you will now see in
many packages, is to add -lcc_dynamic to LDFLAGS.
