According to police reports quoted in the Star-Tribune, 27 or 28 out of the 30 homicides in Minneapolis so far this year are "gang" related. In Minneapolis, gang makeup reflects the lower class population. Mostly black, some asian, and few hispanic. Not a "study," but facts nevertheless.
