This seems like a small thing, and I'm not sure why this hasn't picked
up yet.
Could someone look at this, or otherwise let me know where I should look
so I can try to fix it myself?

I would start at places where the messages are used/printed.

I have created a pull request for this:

I have opted to just increase the fixed minimum size used in
restore.epp. Determining the real minimum size seems to happen
dynamically in dfw.epp, and I didn't see a way to use that in restore.epp.
