operations, but it also lost key facilities CVS was good at. The
resulting project ports are now difficult to work with as a whole where
one has dozens of isolated module which on CVS one could cre
and moving a perfectly
functional repository does not need git messing it up when it does not
need the compromises git introduces.

projects that broke perfectly good CVS repositories into a
series of GIT repo's still have no tools to put the hwole back together
again.
PHP still has not plugged all the holes in it's GIT process and often
gets cross contamination, so until there IS a
int, but I get pigged off with the PHP searches
now passing the buck to google to provide results and the mess that
brings. A search mechanism using firebird built into the website offers
a lot of possibilities including much better handing of translated pages ...

you want to timestamp each element as it is processed, then you use the
original
'NOW' timestamp.
The legacy shortcuts to yesterday,today and tomorrow are probably questionable,
but need to be retained for BC reasons.

interbase/firebird driver code on PHP - just to prove a point. Although I'm
planning a php_firebird fork of that finally.
I'll drop an hg mirror of the useful sections of the Firebird repos at some
point ... actually I had some sections at one point, but I'm r
managing a clean master copy and controlling what goes into
it. This may become academic since while cvs to hg conversion is currently
simple, work is ongoing on the mirror link. svn<>hg simply works.
