Hello i see that Firebird 2.5 is still in Beta status
what happened there ?
Also Firebird 3.0 Language Reference in English was promised ;)
This is related to the new Crowd funding campaign
https://www.firebirdsql.org/en/news/documentation-crowd-funding-2017/
One argument i can give is that i can edit directly the files on github ,
so that is a lot faster for small fixes for the doc area

He is not out of touch , MD and github is proved to be better for getting
more translations and docs and code contributions
After we have docbook it can be converted to MD

Maybe it needs a little reorg and cleanup
https://twitter.com/lukaseder/status/502724453714124800
some documents can be put at the bottom or in another area
for example Interbase and Firebird coexistance/ FB 1.0 GSG can be
moved t

I would suggest to move all documentation to git on sf.net or github ,
it is a lot easier to manage branches also faster and use firebird
type of branches
master-> firebird 3.x devel
firebird_2.5 -> firebird 2.5 documentation
firebird_2.1 -> firebird 2.1 documentation
https://github.com/asfernand
I have updated it with 2.5.x only it needs a push for html/pdf versions

This article explains how to write DocBook files in Eclipse and how to
convert these files into various output formats, e.g. to HTML and pdf.

Here is how do i build only the papers instead of full manual
sh build.sh html -Dbase=papers
I have started to update some of the papers , also the firebird
history in the Enterprise area needs a update , the current version is
