Hello,
I've installed Firebird Client 2.1.0-RC1 and the DEX provider 2.0.2 and the
FirebirdDDEXProviderPacakgeLess32.reg file.
I've added the entries to the machine.cfg file.
I'm using VS2005 Professional with SP1 on Vista Business.
The components are visible in the toolbox after activating them, so far so
good.
When I try to add a data connection in the server explorer I can select the
Firebird Data Source.
The Add Connection dialog appears but when I try to edit a value the dialog
immediately closes and no connection is made.
It looks likes the Cancel button is pressed when editing a value.
When I add a connection object to the form and select the connectionstring
property the button in the edit field for the dialog to start doesn't
appear.
Any idea's
