Hello! I have Firebird 2.1 dialect 1/charset NONE database and I am moving it to Firebird to get all the performance improvements (64 bit, multi-process capabilities, etc.). Move to dialect 3/charset UTF8 is quite involved, I am trying to do this, of course, but as fallback option I would like to move my Firebird 2.1 database to Firebird 3 dialect 1/charset NONE. Will I get any perforamance improvements? Or maybe Firebird 3 performance improvements are available for dialect 3 databases only?
