So write yourown udf in your favourite language or write stored procedure
eg. make_crosstab(sql varchar(500)) which parse sql and create crosstab
selectable procedure in fly from given sql. You will be able to select *
from crosstab as in postgres.

Hi all,
I don't see a PIVOT function available in Firebird 2.5
What would be the best way to design and query a matrix in firebird.
I need a distance matrix to indicate the distance between several cities.
Cities will be need to be added and distances adjusted as time goes by.
