The problem is on the php server.
The Firebird server is ok, and had worked with other servers before.
Our knowledge of the firebird server is adeqate.
The problem is how to set up a centos 6.2 server with directadmin as
controlepanel with a firebird client.

you need to have the php driver installed
under Centos it is as simple as :
yum install php-firebird
when you have epel repository enabled

I do have epel repository.
With that command I get this message:
* epel: mirror.nl.leaseweb.net
77 [ackages excluded due to repository priority protections
Setting up Install Process
No package php-firebird available
Error: Nothing to do.

Can I supply additional information, which would help solving this?
