Hi. I'm running firebird Firebird-2.5.2.26540_0_x64 superclassic
in highly concurent enviroment where I have up to 200 to 500 concurrent
connections, most of them from IIS web services.
Win server 2008, db and web server on same rig.
I'm running it on on Intel X5450 3.00GZ Quad core rig with 8gigs of ram, and
15000 disks in raid 10.
So
Superclassic with page cache = 1024
I'm experiencing some slowdowns and deadlocks due to increased number of users,
and because of the app architecture which cannot be changed easily.
Would switching to classic help, becasue i'm still unsure about the way
superclassic is utilizing multiple cpus.
Threads vs processes, scalability vs stability if i'm correct.
