Hi All,
Setting the optional size argument on "TempDirectories" in firebird.conf
doesn't seem to work.
We've played with setting different locations and can demonstrate it works:
TempDirectories = /location1; /location2; /location3
But specifying sizes seems to get the whole line
Hello,
Our app rebuilds indexes periodically (about once a month) by calling
"ALTER INDEX index_name ACTIVE" on a bunch of indexes in the database.
I need to estimate how much free disk space the customer should have
in order to complete this process. I decided to restrict
TempDirectories size, ru

I cut&pasted the line from the config file
checked the permissions of /var/tmp, no problem there (777)

Which 2.1 version exactly?

Is this the real value, or are there spaces between the entries, size
restrictions in bytes?

(firebird 2.1, centos, classic) I have this in the firebird.conf file
TempDirectories = /tmp;/var/tmp
and yet, only /tmp was used and then the query quit with and out-of-space
message.
Can anyone see what it wrong with it, or is this a bug?
