Of course, I was sound asleep and did not get to witness the event. No problem as horses have been doing this without human assistance for a couple of thousand years. Anyway, mom and son are doing just fine. It made my day to wake Doug and Peg Knutsen up real early this morning. They came over with video camera in hand and captured all the events that are supposed to occur within a couple or three hours after birth. Lesa B., you will be getting that picture of Ramsi that was promised a few weeks ago as I have now finished the roll of film. So much for now, gotta go check on Jens and Tullae. Tis indeed another beautiful day in Ellensburg and the Kittitas valley.
