Hello all listers! Beautiful fjord mare for sale My friend's mare just had a stillborn foal 8 days ago - she was going to sell the mare after the baby was weaned - but now the mare is for sale already. The mare's name is Norbels Prinsesse. She was evaluated at 3 years old with straight 8 scores overall and a 3. premie and was nr. 2 in "kvalitet". Dam: Hadly 2. pr Sire: Flotren 2. pr The mare is offered at a very low cost since she is a cribber - nothing extreme but she does crib in a tie stall at least. She has been here at Fjordhestgarden all day today and she hasn't cribbed at all in a box stall. Then again, she might be depressed after losing her first foal. This is an exceptional sports horse and would be ideal for combined driving. She is more of a sports type than the mellow family horse type. She likes to go - not in a spooky way, but she has a lot of energy. Her dam Hadly has done very well in dressage, jumping and driving. And Flotren is well known in the US, of course. She has been driven quite a lot - and ridden, too, but she is very much recommended as a combined driving horse. I will use her as a trail horse for the more experienced riders this summer at Fjordhestgarden until she is sold. If anyone is interested I can send pictures.
