I have to agree with Anne Appleby's post about colic.
Time is of the essence, and it can happen even with
the very best of care. If I see a Fjord not eating
and there is food available I immediately phone the
vet, grabbing the banamine and stethoscope and
grabbing the halter to walk the horse until they
arrive. Know your horse and its patterns and if
anything if 'off' don't wait.
