This message is from: Lori Albrough <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi all:
Just got back from the Canadian Carriage Driving Classic, where I groomed for Pat Wolfe. What a show! If you ever get a chance to attend, I highly recommend it. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and there are so many beautiful turnouts, it's almost mind-boggling. There were people from all over, even as far away as Florida. Pat brought his geldings Haakon & Donder. They were the only Fjords at the show, and they did the breed proud. They won Reserve Champion Pony Pair (missed the Grand Champion by half a point, with the next closest contender ten points behind). The competition was very stiff. There were, I believe, twelve entries in the division. Regarding Fjords being movers, you should see Pat's boys. They fly! Pat said to me before Cross Country, "Now you hang on tight!" Good advice! The Fjords actually cleaned up in all the performance classes, cones & XC. All in all, a great show. Lori
