Why not buy the kid a Kindle...? That would be their preference Im sure, over
a moldy book,
unless the child has been cloistered from civilization, hah.
Kindle books cost comparative pennies, to paper books, they are a more

Ruthie, I love my Kindle. I also love Mid Columbia libraries. I can borrow
books from them and they load wirelessly to the Kindle through Amazon! Most
libraries now loan digital books now. They have a lot of books for all
ages.

I love my Kindle as well, and find it easier to read on it. That said, I
just looked up the Misty of Chincoteague Kindle, and all of the nice
watercolors are in black and white!
