Speaking of auctions....Did anyone attend this auction and maybe know the fate of the cataloged Fjords that went through? Karen in Madras, Oregon hoping the best for them... BTW, next week is the Small Farmers Journal auction. Thankfully I think the auction directors & Lynn Miller have "seen the light" and are not having a horses auction, but rather a 'European style Horse Market' where selling is done privately with the horses boarded on the grounds. Hopefully this model will work for both buyers and sellers. As the auction is in my back yard I would love the opportunity to visit with any Fjord List people that will be attending. I know due to the erratic auction schedule it's nearly impossible to meet and socialize, but maybe we can get together individually or if we know what's happening w/ the schedule nearer to auction time, we could meet somewhere. Please contact me off list and we can trade phone numbers, etc. Ya'll can also drop in on my new business: Madras Garden Depot (www.madrasgarden.com) if you get a bit bored and need a break from the tedium of old dusty farm harness and funky antique conveyances and would like to experience our warm greenhouses bursting with spring color ;~) Important FjordHorse List Links: Subscription Management: http://tinyurl.com/5msa7e FH-L Archives: http://tinyurl.com/rcepw Classified Ads: http://tinyurl.com/5b5g2f
