Hi List, just wanted to let everyone know of the release of Volume 1 & 2 of
"Horse Tales for the Soul". Perhaps some of you remember an ad in the Fjord
Herald, Spring 2001 #58, Page 46, asking for horse related stories? Bonnie
Marlewski-Probert, author of several horse related books was looking for
uplifting, heart-warming, horse-related stories to create a book similar to
"Chicken Soup for the Soul" called "Horse Tales for the Soul". Well, I
submitted a story and it was accepted. It is in Volume 2, which was just
released this week. My story involved a Fjord weaning Filly, named Gyda
Engel. I was just wondering if anyone else submitted an article and got it
accepted???? Has anyone read Volume 1? You can order Volume 1 & 2 at
www.TheCompletePet.com And by the way, I don't receive any commission from
sales. I received 2 free books for submitting my story, I may be published
but still poor :-). Would love to hear from anyone who has read Volume 1 or
Volume 2.

On another note, I'm training a 2 yr old gelding for Renae Tiller. This
gelding is by Haakon, owned by Tom Hans. This gelding is nice!!! Super
intelligent, willing, quiet, calm. PLUS he is tall and lean. My favorite
type of Fjord-light riding build. I know Tom has some more 2 yr olds for
sale by his Stallion, Haakon and in Tom's word, he has nicer ones then this
2 yr old that I'm training. Tom lives near Madison WI email is
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sure he won't mind that I put in a plug for him and his
horses!!??? We're just working on ground manners, exposure, voice/body
commands and getting use to the bit. He is just great to work with LOVE
FJORDS! I might add I have 2 stallions, (one is GRAY by Erlend) and a 2 yr
old filly for sale. The filly is little, will be perfect for a child or
small adult. Both Stallions are easy to handle, first time stallion owner
prospect and trained to ride/drive. email [EMAIL PROTECTED]
