You are 150% correct about that one.  Honestly, for the first three years 
that I had Dusty in training for his then owner, Chip Lamb, I begged him to cut 
Dusty he was such a handful!  He was 1000 pounds of testosterone and I was the 
one having to deal with it.  I am glad now that Chip ignored my pleas, but it 
was a long haul getting Dusty to the point where he was socialized properly.  
Dusty was 7 years old before I could actually enjoy him!  I bought him when he 
was coming 5.

I am grateful every day, now that he remains whole.  I have trained several 
of his offspring and they are absolutely incredible as far as their willingness 
to learn and their athletic ability.  They are like sponges and absorb 
lessons immediately.  In fact, I just received an email from Orwicks, who have 
a 
Dusty daughter, that Brianne is just now starting.  She is astounded at how 
quickly this filly learns and is going to try to get her on cattle.  Maybe 
another 
cutting Fjord??!!  His offspring leave me with my mouth hanging open at how 
fast they learn.
