The Midwest Horse Fair is soon approaching. The theme this year is Heroes & Horses. It is held at the Energy Alliant Center in Madison WI, April 19-21 2013. FRI/SAT/SUN. It is a HUGE fair, one of the biggest in the Midwest if not the biggest. Around a thousand horses present, tons of great clinicians, more venders than a person could probably visit in a day. There is so much to see and do and best of all, our beloved Fjords are there with 2 demonstration times showing off to the crowds! This year is going to be exceptionally special for 2 reasons, and we could use your help. First, this year the Midwest Fjord Horse Club is having their spring meeting in conjunction with the Midwest Horse Fair. The club will meet on FRIDAY the 19th, at the Quality Inn & Suites. Reservations for the dinner will need to be in by March 21st. There is a block of rooms reserved at the Quality Inn & Suites for our group. Please mention: Midwest Fjord Horse Club, when making reservations with them. Those rooms will be held until March 21st at a rate of $101.00. SECOND, our group is planning on paying tribute to our men and women of the U.S. armed service, as we follow with the theme of the fair. We could use your help in decorating the Fjord Booth. We would love to have the name(s) of family members who have or are currently serving in our Armed Services. You can include deceased relatives as well. Please list the NAME of the person who served or is serving, YOUR NAME and how they are related to you, and THEIR BRANCH of SERVICE. Years served and or if they served in a war can also be included.
