Hello,

Everyone in our barn wears Mountain Horse High Riders or Sportive High Riders.
They also come in a warmer insulated winter version. I have both, but find
the regular ones warm enough that I don't often wear the winter ones.

They have a back zipper and on each side of the zipper there is a stretch
nylon panel, so they are easy on and off and very comfortable. They need
almost no break-in. I find them comfortable enough to hike in if I need to,
and also enjoy the fact that snow doesn't go down into the boot if I step into
snow, and bugs can't bite through them. We have all agreed that there is no
more comfortable boot to ride in, and they look pretty nice too, if you keep
them clean. (Baby wipes) They used to run quite large, but don't know if that
is still the case or not, since mine are five or six years old and still do
not need replacing.

That said, I will try a pair of the Ariat Terrains next time I need a good
all-around boot. They sound great.

Claudia in Wisconsin and three year-old Vergel, who is doing great driving.
