Hi everyone, Wondering just how to go about teaching an older horse who is used to going on a loose rein, trail riding, to lighten up in front.. Lizbet is 18 , very sweet and willing . Does anyone have any suggestions for getting her up in the bridle more and lightening her up, rounding etc. I'm using a french training snaffle on her right now. Any suggestions for excercises, bits, etc. would be much appreciated. What about lunging with side reins and if so, the procedure.. Thanks so much for any suggestions.. Beth in Maine where it is cloudy but has cooled off and the heavy humidity is GONE :)
