Hi
There is a small Amish community in southwestern Virginia. The member of the
community that makes carts, etc. had a pair of fjords when he lived in Canada

When I was looking for driving equipment I talked to a young Amish man - when
I told him I had a fjord he said he wished he could get one. I asked him why
he did not have one - too expensive was his response.

In Wisconsin I have seen a lot of Standard Bred horses used by the Amish
with their buggy's, don't know about their work horses for plowing etc.
