I'm a bit behind on my reading, but I just had to comment on this one! It
reminds me of the first time I rode Taffy with spurs on. I guess I poked a
bit too hard for her and she started to buck (quite respectably, too), after
the fourth jump she lost her balance and kind of squatted down on her hind
end, almost sitting down, and I slid back and landed right on my feet behind
her. Well, my feet were still in the stirrups when she stood back up, but I
just happened to be riding my Keiffer saddle and the leathers slid right off
the bars (HEY, just like their supposed to do!) leaving me standing behind
Taffy with my feet still in the irons and the leathers draped across my toes!
I laughed so hard I fell to my knees, otherwise I'd never have gotten a bit
dirty!

Congratulations to the Bailey's on the arrival of their newest Fjord!! (I
have to wait till June for our only baby this year.:( )

Lisa: Great advise on driving attire! I too am a big fan of second hand
stores! Especially the "ritzier" consignment joints (where I got my 100%
wool, White Stag jacket for $10!)
