This message is from: carol j makosky <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi List, I just want to thank one and all for the chicken and winter shoe advice. The four chickens are now "under my wing" for now. I will try to find a home for them and if not they will be stew. At least they will have water and food and not be left to fend for themselves. Heidi is getting used to them and it will be a good learning experience for her. As far as shoes go, I have my farrier coming out soon to pull her shoes and do a slight trim. I prefer no shoes and will use my easy boots with the removable studs for any winter rides. If I am not satisfied with that arrangement, I will have the shoes with pads put on for winter.
