This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aimee, concerning 'drafty : I can't quantify it, but I know it when I see it. I have 4 mares, one of which I consider 'drafty' (an Orrjo daughter by the way), although one of my other mares is bigger, more bone, not athletic nor fine boned at all, who I do NOT consider 'drafty' . In my mind, a 'drafty' body type means that they are put together like a classic draft horse ( duh !), probably bone, thickness of neck, feathers around the hoof, placement of neck, ratio of length to height, all these things go into it. You know a Clydesdale or Belgian when you see them and will identify them as 'draft horses', a drafty Fjord should give you the same impression ... hey, thats a draft horse.
