Well said Beth .. here here!  

Here is another example of predjudice against the breed by someone who didn't 
even know them:
I was once going through the barns at Kentucky Horse Park and came upon one 
with a pair of Fjordies within.  A man who owned another breed was nearby and I 
asked him about the pair.  He went on to tell me about Fjords, and snidely 
tell me how they all look alike.  It's a good thing he left because the more I 
thought about that statement the madder I got!   Would he have said the same 
about Friesians, for goodness sakes?  ... grrr.  And what if they did only come 
in one color .. they are still "special" and wonderful friends, pets, riding 
horses, driving horses and work horses for us Fjord-fans to enjoy.
