This message is from: Peggy Spear <pmars...@yahoo.com> Hi All- The 3-day event in Columbus was a great showing for some area fjords! Philip Odden, Chet and Donna Thomas, and I all had great showings. Dr. Bob Long was Champion of the Novice Division! Kudos go out to Donna Thomas who drove Trina in the Lady to Drive Class, placing 4th out of 15. She looked beautiful! Also, a great job for Patti Jo Walter who placed 1st in the Scurry with her maiden horse Voss. The highlight for me was winning the Fathers Day class with my 80 yr old father. Four out of his six children and his wife of 60 years were in attendance to cheer us on. He really got a charge out of dressing up and riding in the class with Dutch and I. I wish to thank all the above listed fjord owners that participated in the show and Michael Scott, Linda Syverson-Kerr, Therine and Bob Gudknecht for all their encouragement and help throughout the long, hot and humid 3 days. Thank you also to my best friend of 26 yrs, Annette King. Without all her help and dedication to my fjord passion, I would be unable to participate in the driving shows. I am so happy to have entered the driving world and to be included in such a wonderful breed group made up of such wonderful people and their horses.
