i remember a mention a day or so ago of fjords as great pack horses. does anyone know where such an experienced pack fjord might be found? i have a friend who is a major hunting type. he is getting older now but still hunts. he mentioned that he would like to get a pack horse and of course, i thought "fjord" immediately. then i came home to see metnion of it on the list. it must be in the cards. so i am putting feelers out for such an animal. it has to be experienced at hunting, guns, and packing and gentle natured. my friend is older and has no experience with horses, so a nice gentle horse would be the best. he lives on 28 fenced acres that he uses for growing hay. he has 2 dogs. any leads would be appreciated. i could email him with the site. thanks, denise
